4 medium green peppers
1/2 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove of garlic, pressed
1 cup of tomato paste
1/2 cup of black olives, pitted and halved
1 pinch of oregano
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup of rolled oats
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
4 medium green peppers
1/2 pound ground beef

Cut the peppers in half lengthwise
Remove the seeds and white membranes
Arrange in a baking dish
Season the inside of the peppers with salt
In a baking dish, combine the ground beef, onion, and garlic, and microwave uncovered at high power for 4 minutes, stirring twice during cooking
Add the remaining ingredients, except the cheese, and mix well
Stuff the peppers
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap (Rolopack or Magipack), leaving a gap
Microwave on medium power for 3 minutes to reheat
Remove the plastic wrap, sprinkle with cheese, and microwave again on medium power for 30 seconds
Cover and let rest for 3 minutes
