    For a baking sheet, line it with aluminum foil and grease it with butter. Place the pecans and set aside. To make the syrup, bring the sugar to a boil with water, stirring until dissolved. Stop stirring and cook until the syrup reaches a light golden color. Pour the syrup over the pecans, covering them. Let it cool until it hardens. To break up the praline, place it on a cutting board and chop coarsely. Store in an airtight container. Serve 2 cups or 28 tablespoons (of soup). For the praline in powder, break the praline into pieces and add to the blender slowly, until you get a fine powder. Serve 2 cups or 28 tablespoons (of soup).
