1/4 cup of butter or margarine
2 cups of chopped onion (it's a bit of a chore, but there's an onion chopper to help)
2 tablespoons of paprika
1/2 pound of sausages cut into bite-sized pieces
5-6 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cut into small squares
1 tablespoon of salt
400g of tomatoes, cored and chopped

Melt the butter or margarine in a pan over medium heat
Cook the onion until it's golden brown; add the paprika and sausages
Fry for 5 minutes, then add the potatoes, salt, and tomatoes
Cover the pan and let it simmer slowly for 30 minutes, or until the potato is tender, adding about 1/2 cup of water if desired
Serve in 3-4 portions.
