Wash the sweet potato thoroughly and cook it in salted water until it becomes soft
Remove the skin and blend it

Peel the linguica and chop it
In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil
Brown the linguica, remove from the pan and reserve

In the same pan, put in the mashed sweet potato, the remaining butter, and milk
Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, for five minutes
