1 package of chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter or margarine, softened
1/4 cup water
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup chopped hazelnuts or pecans (or any other nut you prefer)
1 packet of 100g grated coconut
(Optional) Whipped cream

Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (170°C)
In a baking dish measuring 32.5 x 22.5 x 5 cm, melt the butter or margarine
Add water and sprinkle shredded coconut evenly over the mixture in the dish
Spread chopped nuts and grated coconut over the cake mix
Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions
Pour the mixture into the baking dish
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Let it rest for 5 minutes
Invert onto a flat surface and cut into squares
(Optional) Serve with whipped cream
Yields approximately 16 squares.
