1 cup all-purpose flour

100g bitter chocolate
125g unsalted butter or margarine

3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla

Sift together the flour, yeast, and salt
Melt the chocolate with the butter or margarine over low heat
Beat the eggs
Add the sugar slowly, stirring well
Add the melted chocolate to the mixture
Combine the flour and yeast
Stir well
Add the pecans and vanilla
Mix well
Pour into a 20cm square baking dish greased
Bake in a moderate oven for 30-40 minutes
Let cool
Cut into squares and dust with sugar.
