In a mixer, cream together 6 oz unsalted butter, softened, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, and 3/4 cup granulated sugar until smooth
Add 1 large egg and mix well
Combine 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/4 cup crushed colorful chocolate chips
Mix well to combine
Shape the dough into small mounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Leave space between each cookie for spreading during baking
Decorate the cookies with whole chocolate chips and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
