1 package of all-purpose flour or Maria
3/4 cup of chopped hazelnuts (or cashews)
1/2 cup of unsalted butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar
150g of melted bittersweet chocolate
5 separated eggs
1 1/2 tablespoons of vanilla

Beat the butter or margarine with the sugar until smooth
Add the melted chocolate
Add the egg yolks and mix well
Add the vanilla
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the mixture carefully
Blend the wafers in a blender
Also blend the hazelnuts
Mix and spread half of the mixture into a 16x26cm rectangular glass baking dish greased very well
Spread the cream on top and sprinkle with the remaining biscuit and nut mixture
Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight
