1 cup of milk
1/4 cup of oil
4 tablespoons of wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
12 slices of toasted bread (filé)
6 scoops of vanilla ice cream

To dust
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
3 tablespoons of cinnamon
To decorate
1 pimenta-do-moça, cut into thin slices

Beat the eggs until foamy
Add flour and nutmeg , and beat again
Dip the bread in milk and then coat with egg batter

In a frying pan, heat oil and fry four slices at a time
Remove from the pan and place on paper towels to drain excess oil
Mix powdered sugar and cinnamon and dust over the pandanums
Serve two pandanums per plate and, alongside, one scoop of vanilla ice cream
Garnish with pimenta-do-moça slices
