1 mackerel without skin and bones, cut into cubes
1/2 cup of olive oil
1 onion, cut into cubes
2 bell peppers, cut into cubes
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tomato, peeled and seeded, cut into cubes
1/2 cup of almonds
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1 nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick (or a few grains of cinnamon)
12 sprigs of parsley, chopped
salt to taste

Heat half the olive oil
Possess the mackerel and fry for 2 minutes
Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and fry some more
Remove the mackerel and bell peppers from the pan and reserve
In the same frying pan, add the rest of the olive oil and caramelize the garlic
Return the mackerel and bell peppers to the pan and add the tomato, almonds, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon
Cook until the ingredients are tender
Add the parsley and let it cool.
