Leaves from 2 bunches of spinach
2 finely chopped onions
4 tablespoons of butter
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
4 cups of milk
1 cup of raisins
Salt and black pepper to taste

Wash the spinach leaves and place them in a pot
Cover and simmer over low heat until wilted
Let it cool, squeeze out any excess water, and chop finely
Set aside
In a separate pot, sauté the onion in butter until golden brown
Add the flour and mix well
Remove from heat and gradually add the milk, stirring constantly
Return to heat, add the spinach, and cook, stirring constantly, until hot and thickened
Add the raisins and season to taste
