12 fine cutlets of beef
2 crushed garlic cloves
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 cup (American) white wine
12 strips of bacon
1 green bell pepper, sliced into 12 thin strips
1 red bell pepper, sliced into 12 thin strips
2 yellow zucchinis, sliced into 12 thin strips
2 tablespoons tomato sauce

Season the cutlets with garlic, salt, black pepper, and wine
Let it rest for 30 minutes
Drain and reserve the wine
Place a strip of bacon, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and zucchini on each cutlet
Roll up each cutlet and tie with kitchen twine
Arrange the rolls side by side in a Dutch oven
Pour in the reserved wine and bring to a simmer
When the wine simmers, add the tomato sauce and cook for 40 minutes.
