6 large cabbage leaves
For the filling
2 cups of cooked ham, cut into cubes
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup of chopped parsley
1/8 teaspoon of mustard seeds
For the topping
3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons of grated cheddar cheese
1/8 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
6 large cabbage leaves
For the filling

Remove excess stem from each cabbage leaf
Place in a refrigerator and cover with plastic wrap (leave a small opening)
Heat in the microwave, high power, for 1 to 3 minutes, until leaves are pliable. Reserve
Prepare the filling by mixing all ingredients
To assemble the rolls: divide the prepared filling among the 6 cabbage leaves
Cover the filling with the underside of each leaf
Fold the sides towards the center and roll
Secure with a toothpick and place in a square dish, 20 cm
Cover and heat in the microwave for 4 to 6 minutes, until the filling is firm
Sprinkle topping ingredients on top and heat in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes, until cheese melts
Remove toothpicks and serve still warm
Serves 6
Note: To remove cabbage leaves, place entire head in the microwave, high power, for 10 to 13 minutes, until outer leaves detach
Store leftover cabbage in the refrigerator.
