1 cup (heaping) of chickpeas

Place the chickpeas in three separate bowls with 2 cups of water each, and let them soak for four hours
Drain and rinse, then place them in a pot with enough water to cover them
Add salt and bring to a boil for 30 minutes
Turn off heat, add other ingredients, and simmer for 5 minutes
Drain, drizzle with olive oil, and serve.
