10 tablespoons chopped fresh hibiscus leaves

Peel the oranges and cut into thin slices
Arrange the slices in a decorative pattern on a glass container
Combine the water and shredded coconut in a saucepan and bring to a boil
Stir until the shredded coconut dissolves
Add the orange slices, white wine, cinnamon sticks, and mint sprigs
Let it simmer for 15 minutes
Remove from heat
Add the cognac and pour over the orange slices
Sprinkle with chopped hibiscus leaves and refrigerate, covered, for at least 3 hours
