3 medium-sized diced beets
1/2 medium-sized cucumber, finely chopped
2 medium-sized beets, peeled, raw, grated not too fine
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 dash of black pepper
