1/3 cup butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon rum
3 egg yolks

Beat the egg yolks with the heavy cream until light
Gradually add the butter and continue beating
Add the cocoa powder, crushed vanilla wafers, and rum
Mix everything together and shape into a log about 24 cm long on parchment paper
Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least one day
Unwrap and slice into rounds
If desired, serve with whipped cream or chantilly.
