2 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cups of shredded coconut
1/2 cup of chopped pecans
1 cup of all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
8 ounces of butter or margarine
1 egg, unbeaten
3/4 cup of mashed papaya
2 eggs
1 cup of sugar

Beat the eggs with sugar
Beat well
Add the coconut and pecans
Sift the flour with baking powder and reserve
Add the cocoa powder to the butter or margarine, beating well
Add the egg
Combine the sifted ingredients and mix well
Spread on the sides and bottom of a 22 cm diameter non-stick pan
Cover the bottom with papaya
Top with the coconut mixture
Bake in a moderate oven for 35 to 45 minutes
Let cool before serving.
