Mix together the flour, yeast, and salt
Combine the milk and egg, then add to the flour mixture and mix until smooth
Add the melted butter and mix well
Dry the sausages with paper towels
Thread one end of each sausage onto a wooden skewer or popsicle stick, leaving about half the length of the sausage exposed
Hold the sausage by the skewer and dip each sausage into the dough mixture, coating it evenly to the skewer
Fry in hot oil until the dough is golden brown
Drain slightly on paper towels and serve very hot
These sausages can be prepared ahead of time and reheated in the oven by placing them directly on the oven rack
Douse 15 sticks.
