Several hours before serving, spread butter on the bread slices
Mix the ham with 1 cup of grated cheese, pickles, and mustard
Spread this filling over 9 bread slices
Place the bread slices together again, forming a whole loaf, with the tenth slice at the end, under a sheet of aluminum foil
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the loaf
Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil
Refrigerate for about an hour
One hour before serving, preheat the oven
Bake the sandwich in a hot oven for about 45 minutes
In the last 10 minutes, open the aluminum foil
Serve on a platter, opening the foil well, garnished with parsley
Serve two slices per person.
