Wash the strawberries, remove the leaves, and pat dry
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, heavy cream, and ginger paste
Mix well
Add the chopped scallions and mix again
Butter the bread slices
Spread the cream cheese mixture over half of the bread slices and top with sliced strawberries
Dust with salt and black pepper
Cover with the remaining bread slices
When serving, cut the sandwiches in half, forming triangles.
