Cook the soybeans according to basic recipe and reserve 3 cups of cooking liquid
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, sautéing the green pepper and onion until tender
Combine cooked soybeans, reserved cooking liquid, sautéed vegetables, spicy ketchup, salt, and molasses in a refractory form
Bake in a preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally
Serve warm, hot.
