8 slices of whole wheat or white bread
4 tablespoons (2 inches) of butter or margarine at room temperature
4 tablespoons (2 inches) of mustard
4 tablespoons (2 inches) of mayonnaise
8 slices of minas cheese
2 medium-sized tomatoes, cut into 6 thin slices each
1 cup of pickles, finely chopped and drained
2 chicken breasts, cut into 4 thin pieces (250g)

4 tablespoons (2 inches) of mayonnaise

Spread 2 tablespoons of butter on one side of the bread slices
Place them together, with the buttered side facing down
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1/2 tablespoon of mustard over each bread slice
Top with 1 cheese slice, 3 tomato slices stacked, a quarter of the pickles, and a chicken piece
Place the remaining cheese slices on top
Spread the remaining mayonnaise and mustard on the bread slices
Place them with the buttered side facing down onto the filling
Spread the remaining butter on top
Fry 2 sandwiches at a time in a large non-stick skillet, pressing gently to ensure even cooking
Cook for 1 minute per side
Cook for a total of 4 portions.
