In a high-sided non-stick skillet, place the slices of cheese
Fry the water and pour it over the cheese
Reduce heat to low and, using a spatula, gently press the cheese until melted, being careful not to mix in the water
Remove the water
Open the patty in half and remove the upper part of the ham
Fill the patty with the melted cheese and top with the other half of the patty, distributing the sliced ham
Closure and serve with the sauce
