250g of thin slices of cooked prosciutto
100g of ricotta cheese passed through a sieve
4 tablespoons of melted butter

Remove the crust from the bread slices
Assemble each slice with a roll of macaroni
Cover each bread slice with slices of prosciutto cut to the same size
Mix well the ricotta with the pickles
Spread a thin layer over the prosciutto
Roll tightly, pressing firmly
Baste with butter
Place in a hot oven or grill, turning to toast evenly
Cut each roll into 2 pieces or leave whole
Serves 10 large or 20 small
