Dissolve the gelatin in cold water
Heat it gently over low heat, stirring constantly
Add 1 cup of mayonnaise and mix well
Remove from heat and let thicken
At this point, mix together the remaining 1/2 cup of mayonnaise with the tuna, pickles, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and black pepper
Shape 6 sandwiches using 3 slices of bread for each, filling them with the tuna mixture
Arrange the sandwiches on a platter, placing them side by side to form a rectangle
Cover the top and sides with the remaining mayonnaise, then refrigerate until firm
Garnish with anchovy paste and cut into 6 portions
