Spread the butter on one side of each bread slice

Place two slices on a baking sheet with the buttered side facing down

Add a slice of mozzarella cheese, two tomato slices, and a sprinkle of salt over the cheese

Top with three basil leaves

Cover with another slice of mozzarella cheese and the bread with the buttered side facing up

Place the baking sheet in the oven at 200°C (392°F)

When the mozzarella is melted, turn off the oven and use a spatula to remove the sandwiches from the baking sheet
