6 slices of bread

1/2 cup chopped green onion
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon mustard
salt and black pepper to taste
2 1/2 cups milk
1 cup cooked chicken or turkey, diced (use leftovers)
250g of warm sausages cut into small cubes
2 tablespoons sausage bits

Remove the soft centers from the bread
Use the soft centers in another recipe
Melt the butter or margarine, fry the green onion for a few minutes
Add the flour, mustard, salt, and black pepper to taste
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly
Cook until thickened, then add the chicken, sausage, and sausage bits
Fill the bread with the mixture
Add 6 sausages.
