1 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsalted butter or oil
1 egg, lightly beaten

Filling: Chicken:
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup chicken fat or butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chicken broth
3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
3/4 cup cooked and diced carrot
8 slices of plate cheese

Filling: Chicken:
1/2 cup chopped onion

3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
3/4 cup cooked and diced carrot
8 slices of plate cheese
Sift together the flour and salt into a large bowl
Add the fat to small pieces and mix until it forms a granular consistency
Beat the egg lightly and mix 1 tablespoon of beaten egg with 2 tablespoons of water
Reserve the remaining egg
Pour the egg mixture over the flour, mixing with a fork until the dough forms a ball
Roll out on a floured surface to a thickness of about 3 cm larger than the mold to be used
Place the dough in the mold without pressing it
Fork well and bake in a hot oven for 8 minutes
Prepare the filling by sautéing the onion and green pepper in butter
Add the flour and chicken broth, cooking until thickened
Add the cooked chicken, carrot, and reserved egg
Place this mixture into the partially baked dough
Cover with slices of plate cheese and bake in a hot oven for an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
