8 cleaned sardine fillets with central bones removed

Preheat the oven to a hot temperature (400°F)
Season the sardines with salt and lime juice
Set aside
In another part, mix together breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and green peppercorns
Drain the sardines and fill each one with the breadcrumb mixture
Fold in half and place in a refrigerator-safe dish
Brush with olive oil and bake for about 20 minutes
Serve in 8 portions.
