2 cups of milk
3 beaten eggs
3/4 cup of all-purpose flour
1 cup of fresh whipped cream
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons of hazelnut extract
green food coloring (optional)
1/2 cup of peeled, toasted, and chopped hazelnuts (or toasted and chopped cashews)

Warm the milk over low heat
Meanwhile, mix the eggs and flour
Gradually add the warm milk, stirring constantly
Bring to a simmer, but do not let it boil
Remove from heat and let cool
Add the whipped cream, hazelnut extract, vanilla extract, and food coloring
Finally, add the chopped hazelnuts
Pour into a round mold (with lid) of 20 cm diameter and refrigerate until firm
Unmold
Garnish with additional hazelnuts or toasted and chopped cashews
Serves 12 people.
