Assemble alternating layers of crumbled cake, whipped cream, and coconut shreds (reserving 1/2 cup) in a deep dish
Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours
Deseam the pie, top with the remaining whipped cream, and garnish with Maraschino Cherries
