1/4 cup of butter or margarine
6 slices of French bread without crust
3 peeled peaches, seedless, cut into thin slices
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 cup of dried peaches
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
6 slices of French bread without crust
3 peeled peaches, seedless, cut into thin slices

1/2 cup of dried peaches
Melt the butter or margarine in a pan
Cut the bread into small pieces and toast them in the melted butter or margarine
Add the sliced peaches and cover the pan
Cook until the peaches are tender (10 to 15 minutes)
Add the sugar, cinnamon, and dried peaches
Mix well
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla sauce, if desired
Serves 4.
