2-3 medium green peppers, seeded and cut into strips

1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
4 sausage links, cut into slices

Place water, celery, onion, and salted pork in a large pot, tied with twine
Season with salt and black pepper to taste
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
Add the meat, cover, and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is tender
Strain the liquid, reserve the broth, and cut the meat into small pieces
In a large skillet, fry the bacon with peppers and onions until the bacon is translucent
Combine the broth, meat, sweet potatoes, and cook for approximately 20 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender
Season with salt, black pepper, and sweet paprika
Add sausage slices and serve hot.
