Melt the butter or margarine in a pressure cooker and season the lizard all over
Add the seasonings in the indicated order and add the water
Cover the cooker and secure the valve
When the valve starts to wobble, cook for 45 minutes
Let the pressure release naturally
Remove the meat and cut into slices to serve
If desired, thicken the liquid in the cooker
