Peel the carrot skins, wash them, and boil them in water with ground cumin, salt, and black pepper until they're tender
Place the cooked carrots in a blender with 1 cup of the cooking water, chicken bouillon tablets, and milk
Blend until smooth and add butter or margarine to taste
Heat well, but don't let it boil, and serve
Serve 4-6 portions
