2 soup spoons of olive oil
1/2 cup (100g) of butter
2 slices of smoked bacon, cut into small pieces
1 small onion (70g), finely chopped
4 cups of fresh or frozen green peas (500g)
200g of smoked linguiça, cut into slices
6 cups of chicken broth tablet, dissolved (1.4 liters)
1/4 cup (50g) of uncooked rice
A pinch of black pepper

A pinch of black pepper
In a medium pot with the olive oil, butter, and bacon, cook the onion over medium heat until it's slightly caramelized
Add the green peas and linguiça and cook for about 5 minutes
Join the chicken broth and let it simmer
Add the rice, lower the heat, and cook until it's tender (about 20 minutes)
Season with black pepper
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately
