2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
4 cups of green corn kernels
4 slices of bacon, diced
6 cups of chicken broth

Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat until well warmed
Add the garlic and sauté until golden brown
Add the corn, bacon, and mix well
Simmer for 5 minutes
Blend in a blender with some of the broth and beat well
Strain through a sieve and place in a pot with the remaining broth and dissolved flour in a little broth
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened and the corn is cooked.
