2 spoons of butter or margarine
1 small onion finely chopped
1 medium carrot grated and finely chopped
2 slices of bacon finely chopped
1 spoon of wheat flour
2 1/2 cups of chicken broth
salt and black pepper to taste
100g of melted cheese finely chopped

Melt the butter, add the onion, carrot, and bacon
Fry until they're soft and slightly browned
Add the wheat flour and mix well
Cook for 1 minute
Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring
Let it simmer
Season with salt and black pepper, cover, and cook slowly for 15 minutes
Add almost all of the cheese (leave just a few cubes to sprinkle on top)
Mix until melted
Blend in a blender if desired
Serve in two bowls and sprinkle with reserved cheese
If desired, garnish with a bit of sweet paprika
Serve at 12 portions.
