1/4 cup of butter or margarine
2 medium-sized onions, sliced thinly
2 carrots, sliced thinly
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of mustard
2 cups of water
2 bouillon cubes
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 liter of milk
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
2 to 4 sausages, sliced thinly
salt and black pepper to taste

Melt the butter or margarine in a pan over medium heat
Let it melt and add the onions and carrots
Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add the flour and mustard and stir well
Gradually add the water, bouillon cubes, Worcestershire sauce, and milk
Bring to a simmer
Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes
Add the grated cheese and stir until melted
Add the sausages and season with salt and black pepper to taste
Serve hot and enjoy!
