3 medium tomatoes, peeled and seeded
1 small onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 small garlic clove
1 cup tomato puree
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 medium cucumber, sliced
3 medium tomatoes, peeled and seeded

1 medium cucumber, sliced
About 2 hours before serving, place all ingredients except the cucumber in a blender
Blend until smooth
Pour into an aluminum pan, 18 x 25 cm
Cover with aluminum foil and freeze until frozen (but not too hard)
To serve, blend the mixture again in a blender, then pour into bowls
Garnish with cucumber slices
If desired, prepare ahead of time
Leave in the freezer and remove about 45 minutes before serving to thaw slightly, then blend again in a blender
Serve immediately
Yield: 4 portions.
