2 cups of milk
3/4 cup of sugar
2 egg whites

Mix the damsons and lemon juice with the water in a saucepan
Allow it to boil
Reduce heat and cook slowly for 15-20 minutes
Let it cool
Heat the milk
Add the sugar, stirring until dissolved
Let it cool and blend the damsons with the milk in a blender
Place it in the refrigerator for two hours
Beat the egg whites to a stiff peak
Add to the cold mixture and place in a shallow container in the freezer until firm
Serves 4.
