Bring the water and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan until the sugar dissolves
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
Remove from heat and let cool

In a large bowl, combine the simple syrup with the other ingredients
Pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions

Beat the mixture in a blender until it becomes a smooth, creamy sorbet
Pour back into the freezer container, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze for at least 3 hours or until firm.
