1 cup of cornflakes
1/3 cup of toasted almonds or cashews
2 scoops of ice cream

In a saucepan, melt the butter; add the sugar and stir well; cook slowly, stirring constantly
Remove from heat and add the almonds or cashews
Let it cool
If there are larger pieces, break them up
Reserve 2/3 cup of the mixture and add the rest to slightly softened ice cream
Place in the freezer to harden and sprinkle with reserved mixture
Serve 6-8 portions.
