1 large ripe mango or 2 medium-sized ones
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup rum
cream-based sorbet

Peel the mango and cut it into pieces
Place in a shallow dish
Sprinkle with sugar and drizzle with rum
Refrigerate for 1 hour
Divide the sorbet into 4 portions
Spoon each portion onto a dessert plate
Cover with soaked mango chunks
