Melt the water, milk, sugar, coffee, and butter in a saucepan
Let it simmer
Remove from heat
Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes
Mix the eggs and flour in a large saucepan
Add the coffee mixture and cook over low heat, stirring until the mixture thickens
Don't let it boil
Remove from heat and let it cool, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming
Cover and refrigerate until chilled
Place in the freezer and when partially frozen, remove and beat well
Return to the freezer until firm
Serves 6-8 people.
