1 teaspoon of freshly ground cayenne pepper
300 g of strawberry ice cream
1 cup of fresh heavy cream

Place the strawberries in a bowl
Add the sugar, lemon juice, and half of the gin
Season with cayenne pepper
Use a spoon to mash the ice cream with the remaining gin and add it to the seasoned strawberries
Beat the heavy cream quickly until it starts to thicken
Add it to the ice cream and mix lightly (it should be slightly under-mixed)
Serve immediately, and if desired, add more cayenne pepper
Chill for 6 hours.
