Hold a medium-sized non-stick skillet over medium heat, add the sugar and stir until it caramelizes without burning
Add the sliced bananas and gently stir until they are fully coated with the caramel sauce
Add the orange juice and let it simmer. Reserve
In a separate pan, mix together the milk, cornstarch, condensed milk, and heavy cream
Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened
Assemble in individual serving dishes or a large serving dish by alternating layers of the caramelized banana mixture and the creamy topping
Refrigerate until chilled, then serve.
