In a large pot, place 5 liters of water, cover, bring to high heat and let boil
Add one and a half tablespoons of salt and let boil again
Add the macaroni gradually, mix, and cook uncovered until al dente

Drain the macaroni
Return to the pot, add the sauce, mix, and warm
