In a large bowl, combine the puba dough and water
Let it rest for 20 minutes
When all the dough has settled at the bottom of the bowl, pour off the water by tilting the bowl (no need to sieve)

In a medium saucepan, sauté the onion in oil for five minutes or until soft
Beat in a blender until smooth
Add the drained dough, milk, and coconut milk, beating constantly until homogeneous
Sieve and place the mixture into a saucepan

Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, for 30 minutes or until thickened
Season with salt
Serve as an accompaniment to the stew.
